We arrived in Colonge on Friday and set out to see the sites. The most famous is the Cologne Cathedral (Koeln Dom). It is an impressive building that was built over a time period of 600 years, from 1220 to 1800. Saturday we climbed to the top of the tower on the left...509 steps and 425 feet up! You can get a great view of the Rhine River and the city of Cologne from there. Then we walked along side the river to the Chocolate Museum. Very interesting and yummy!
Sunday morning we attended Mass at. the Koeln Dom. Everything is in Latin and German so Dad understood it and I enjoyed the music from the pipe organ.

I am jealous. I hope you keep posting photos.
Wow. Thanks for telling me about all the stairs, because then it makes me a little less jealous of you. But then the CHOCOLATE MUSEUM?! For reals?!!
Great photos! That cathedral looks amazing.
Evan was sitting on my lap and was very excited to see PAPA! MATT! GAMA! almost bouncing off my lap!
Lil A said "there Matt and there Papa." I asked him where they were and he said "at a church."
After seeing the photo with Ga, he decided he was going to call her on his phone. But when she didn't respond to his questions, he decided "my friend at work."
